565 60509990 - Error sign L

Love his microwave. it is 12 years old and just got the first error pop up. I can still use the timer and set clock but every other button on push screams out ERROR and then the letter L shows>
need help

The L sign is for Locked. To release it so you can cook again hold down any button for 30 seconds or until it goes away. I found on google that this happens if the door is opened, shut and buttons pushed rapidly. A child protector. It just so happens when my microwave locked, a grandchild was pushing too many buttons. So! How interesting that the safety feature is there. I just wish it was posted in the book!
