  • Decide if you want the counter top or over the range variety. The counter top is cheaper and it will not require an expensive installation, which is the big plus. The minus is that if counter space is at a premium an over the range oven may be the best solution for you. Beware that you will need a dedicated outlet, ventilation system and an electrician. This is an additional cost that you have to take into consideration before you make your final decision.
  • It is important to think of the cooking power you will need. Power and size generally go hand in hand. This is important because the more heat generated the faster the food is cooked. Microwave convection ovens range in temperatures from 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • There are two types of control pads. Mechanical, with a dial or touch using a digital display. Of course the best one is choosing the one with digital.

Well the simple answer to this query is… well, yeah. This is a real oven and it can perform as well as any conventional oven out there however, it didn't produce the same result as the convection oven is. A conventional oven still gives the best results for most baking and broiling.
