Noticing any signs of rusts in your microwave oven, the first step to be done is to find out if the rust is the result of broken metal that is turning damp and wearing away. If this is the case, your microwave oven needs to be replaced because metal can ignite sparks that causes fire.

On the other hand, some rust in the microwave oven is an indication of hard water that is condensing in the microwave oven, and the rust is just from the stain of the iron in water. The rust must be removed, but this case can't harm your health and is not a source of possible dangers.

Another consideration to discover is if the rust became hot after running the oven. If this is so, it can possibly cause radiation leakage and emits radiation that can be a threat to your health.

It is therefore important to identify the corrosion that the rust in your oven is causing before cleaning them.
