Over the Range Dometic Microwave Ovens

In this category Dometic has two very popular models on offer: DOTRM15 and DOTRM12C.

DOTRM15:

This is the bigger of the two OTR models from Dometic. It comes with 1.5cu ft capacity and 1000W of commensurate power.

You can choose from Black and stainless steel colors in this model.

Like the counter top models, this has the same set of popular features like popcorn, ten power levels, multiple single touch cooking options and three defrost options. You also have removable turn table, door lock and child lock.

One striking feature about this microwave is its compact design. This is where Dometic brings its experience in making compact RV-suitable microwaves.

Though you get the capacity comparable to any standard mid to large microwave, this unit is quite compact and fits in many places where other models fail.

DOTRM12C:

This is a reduced version of the DOTRM15. All the functions and features of this model are similar with the exception of lower power of 950 W and lower capacity of 1.3 cu ft.

Built In Microwaves

These are the perfect microwaves for RVs. The tough design and rugged microwave exterior makes it perfect for installation in microwaves.

This unit can be securely mounted and safely used even while you are on the road.CDMW12 is a very popular model in this category. This is very similar to the OTR microwaves from Dometic.

It comes with 1100W power and 1.2 cu ft capacity. However, it can still run on 120V AC supply and is very compact. You can choose from black, silver and White colors.

Microwave Convection Oven

Dometic is churning out very useful ovens that are ideal for domestic, indoor use as much as they are outdoors. One of the best indoor models is the convection oven.

This comes with dual functionality of microwave and convection oven. The microwave helps cook food faster while the convection oven helps bake, grill and brown foods. DOTRC11 is a very popular model in this category.

This unit comes with 850W of microwave power and 1350W convection power. It has 1.1 cu ft capacity and you can choose from black or stainless steel. As stated above, the combination feature helps retain the juiciness in the meat, while microwave helps cook food faster.

This is also one of the first Dometic sensor microwave. The sensor technology senses the moisture content in the microwave and adjusts the cooking time and power levels accordingly. Among the one touch settings you have reheat, manual defrost, auto defrost by weight, keep warm and popcorn options.
