Easy Kids Christmas Cookies Recipes

Christmas is upon us and I’m sure that all of you homemakers are already frantic with what you’re going to make for that perfect Christmas dinner that every family member is hoping for.

If you’ve got kids running around, why not get them excited over something more than just the gifts that they’re going to receive this holiday season and get them to help you make some quick and easy Christmas treats? There are a lot of easy kids Christmas cookies recipes that’s sure to make them excited.

Celebration sticks

The first recipe is called Celebration sticks. All you need for this quick and easy treats are:

semisweet chocolate chips
8-inch pretzel rods
Colored sprinkles

To make these treats, the first step is to melt the chocolate in the microwave for about a minute. Watch this process closely as chocolate can burn quickly in the microwave. Once you have the chocolate melted, grab the pretzel rods and dip them into the chocolate. Lastly, roll the chocolate-dipped pretzels in a bowl of colored sprinkles. Let it cool on dry wax paper and enjoy.

Peanut Butter Cookie Mix

The last easy kids Christmas cookies recipe that I’m going to share with you is called Peanut Butter Cookie Mix.

All you need to make these are:

3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon egg white powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
Dash of salt
Peanut butter baking chips
1 ½ tablespoons butter
1 ½ tablespoons water

To make these treats, mix the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg white powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside. Put the butter and peanut butter chips in a microwave-safe mug and microwave until the butter is melted.

Put the dry mix into the mug of melted butter and stir with a fork until blended. Microwave for another 2 minutes. Let the mix stand in the microwave for another 2 minutes before taking it out. Let the mix stand until cool enough to eat.
