The Emerson MW8892RD model is a reliable and effective microwave. It is not a very fancy microwave, more of a mid-line microwave.
It heats up quite quickly, and I find I often have to go to the lower end of recommended cooking times. I never get that cold-in-the-middle disaster either.
Additionally, the Emerson MW8829RD is very aesthetically pleasing. It comes in a deep, vibrant red stainless steel and has a stylish handle and button layout.
It is also quite compact and It makes for the perfect addition to any kitchen looking for a splash of color or intrigue.
The buttons have eight one-touch settings, which is really useful if you are in a hurry or cooking multiple things, and they are clear and easy to read.
There are ten power levels for cooking, as well as defrost. The clock is bright, clear and easy to read from across the apartment, without being overly or irritatingly bright. Inside, it looks like most modern microwaves, just white walls and a glass turntable (which is removable).
Overall, for the price, the Emerson MW8892RD is a fantastic budget microwave, perfect for anyone who wants to heat up some food and make their kitchen look good while doing it.
