Fasta Pasta Microwave Cooker Review

I saw this on TV and wasn’t too sure about it, but when I got one as a gift I was excited to try it out.

I love that it can cook 2 pounds of spaghetti (great for leftovers) and uses a minimal amount of water but still never boils over!

It saves me so much time and energy and I don’t have to worry about stirring it or fussing with it cuz it cooks evenly without sticking. It’s great when we are on the go too cuz I can bring it in the motor home!

A great buy and a great product

To say I was skeptical about this flimsy looking device is putting it mildly.

I am a great lover of all things pasta and seeing this one on TV, I was like no way that can work.

Lots of water and oil is needed to get great pasta that doesn't stick together. well, they have proven me wrong I am happy to say.

Hey, you will look at the plastic bowl just like I did and say no big deal, waste of money and other things just like I did.

I have used the FASTA PASTA for every type of pasta you can imagine and the results are always the same it comes out el dente.

I can even boil the noodles for Macaroni and Cheese in my FASTA PASTA. Although I would not recommend adding the cheese in the pasta bowl, it is a big mess.

Now there are some words of caution that I believe should go along with the praise. One is that it only cooks enough for four servings. That is why I bought more than one, I usually have the second one ready to go into the microwave as soon as the first one finishes. I have the water to level and then just add the pasta at the last minute.

The second thing that is a bit of a bother is the markings for the water lines are almost invisible when there is water and pasta in it. Thank god for permanent marker. I just used it to mark the lines from the outside.

The cooking chart says to stir the pasta halfway through the cooking cycle, someone should tell the product description writer this.

The FASTA PASTA is extremely easy to use and you will love being able to rinse and strain in one bowl. This is the way pasta is cooked by a new generation.
