Gardener’s Special Platter

Ingredients:
1 bunch of broccoli
1 small zucchini
1 carrot, peeled and sliced (or baby carrots)
1 bunch of cauliflower
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
¼ teaspoon Garlic Salt
1/8 teaspoon Thyme leaves
2-4 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Trim broccoli and cut into pieces about 2 ½ inches long.
Arrange in a glass casserole dish with flower ends toward the center of the dish.
Cut cauliflower into similar sized pieces. Place between broccoli stalks.
Place carrots just inside of broccoli.
Slice zucchini and place in the center. Cover with casserole dish lid.
Microwave on high for 6-7 minutes, or until vegetables are just about tender.
In a microwave safe dish, combine butter, garlic salt, and thyme.
Cover this dish and microwave on high for 1 minute.
Drain liquid from vegetables.
Drizzle vegetables with butter mixture. Top with parmesan cheese.
Microwave on high uncovered for 1 minute.
Notes:
You can also use other vegetables you like such as mushrooms, bell peppers, or tomatoes.
