The GE Cafe Microwave Oven is the perfect tool for any busy kitchen. This over-the-range model feature a spacious 2 cu ft of capacity and 1100 Watts of cooking power.

The oven features the special dual-distribution system which delivers even cooking and heating results as well as some special features like the Soften feature ideal for melting butter in mere seconds.

The microwave also features 4-speed 315 CFM venting system which helps to keep the kitchen free of any and all smoke, odors or fumes that might escape once you open the door. The model also features a great halogen lighting system for both the interior and the exterior providing enhanced viewing when using the microwave.

The dual-distribution cooking system combines all the 1100 Watts of cooking power with top and side circulation thus allowing for a better and even distribution of heat resulting in great cooking and defrosting results.

The hidden venting system features four quiet speeds with the added extra of a high-powered boost option helping to keep one’s kitchen smoke, odor and fume free.

The GE Cafe microwave oven features the EasyGuide menu system, a unique GE feature which is designed for families on the move. This is a very easy-to-use touch screen that automatically leads one through each step of the cooking process thanks to 92 cooking options under 5 categories.

The Soften feature is an easy way of softening heavy foods for later utilization or consuming, it can be used to soften things like butter and cream cheese so that they’re ready to use for other foods in mere seconds, or it can soften frozen ice cream to make it ideal.

Considering this microwave has been designed with a restaurant in mind it has a unique feature which will quickly defrost one pound of meat, poultry or fish. No longer do you have to take out the meat hours in advance of using it because with this feature you can defrost it in a couple of minutes.

The feature uses a lower power level in order to evenly defrost the pound of meat in a fraction of the time it would take to get to room temperature normally. Also, thanks to the dual distribution the oven comes with you won’t have to precook or turn the food.

This model also comes with a 14.25-inch glass turntable and two wire racks, which can be used for reheating multiple or over sized casserole dishes that wouldn't fit on the round turntable normally.

The Cook function comes with both manual cooking and automatic cooking features. The manual cooking offers ten variable power levels which range from 10 percent to 100 percent of available power.

The automatic or sensor cooking feature saves time by providing pre-programmed settings for many of the most commonly prepared foods in microwaves such as popcorn, potatoes, chicken and vegetables and of course a plethora of beverages. This works by the sensors analyzing the humidity level inside the oven and adjusting cooking time accordingly to avoid overheating.
