Godrej GMG 25A
I have been using Godrej GMG 25A Model grill microwave for one year. Initially it was working so smoothly, that I thought I was lucky to have purchased this model.
For 4 months back the doors lock has broken and it got stuck. The door lock works on electronic magnet so even a tiny things breaks off it’s really a big pain.
Took them 2 days to come and check in spite of informing food being stuck inside. It took them 1 month to get a new part to replace which they said will cost Rs.200.
Now the service man says that the entire mother board is gone and the PCB needs to be replaced and even then he didn’t get the correct lock and again he promises to replace soon and it took another month for him to come and he charged Rs.2000/ to change the unit else it wont work.
Now it makes no sense at all to pay him when i can buy a new one...It’s absolute waste of money and it was not that good piece.
So be careful while going to purchase of microwave ovens of this type.
