I bought Godrej GMG25A Model grill microwave 1 yrs back and it started giving me trouble for the last six months.
The real problem started Nov/02/09 when the door’s small lock got broke and it got stuck. It took them 2 days to come and check inspite of informing food being stuck inside.
The door lock works on electronic magnet so even a tiny things breaks off it’s really a big pain.
Their Service: It took them 1 month to get a new part to replace which they said will cost 200Rs.
And now the service man says that the entire mother board is gone and the PCB needs to be replaced and even then he didn’t get the correct lock and again he promises to replace soon and it took another month for him to come which is Jan/05/10 and says that it will cost me 2000/-Rs to change the unit else it wont work.
Now it makes no sense at all to pay him when I can buy a new one. It’s absolute waste of money and it was not that good piece. NEVER BUY GODREJ
