How To Clean A Microwave

Tips on How To Clean A Microwave

For all the help in revolutionizing the use of time, energy and ingredients that microwave ovens have brought to the world, they can still get incredibly dirty at times, so much so that their interior starts looking like you’re growing a new sort of life form in your oven.

This happens because the microwave oven does what it does very well, namely it heats stuff up, very quickly and very hot. If it has water molecules in it then a microwave oven will heat it up tremendously, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise the fact that every now and then, some things will just explode inside your microwave oven, that’s what they do if they’re in there for too long.

Normally this doesn’t become a huge problem, as long as you wipe the interior straight away, you’ll probably minimize if not completely obliterate the problem, however things become challenging when the inside of the microwave is neglected for a long while and used by inattentive children or even adults.

If you’re dealing with some minor spills then washing the removable plate with some mild detergent and rinsing it well will do for it, while wiping and cleaning the inside of the microwave with the same mixture will suffice for it as well. Keep in mind to dry both the plate as well as the inside of the oven with a clean cloth or paper towel before starting using it again.

How to clean a microwave if you’re dealing with some layered on, tough stains? Then you’ll need a little bit more effort and some microwave cleaning tips mention below
