I am writing this after one year (may 2009). The microwave is serving the purpose without any issue so far. We are also happy with LG microwave oven.
We use to cook and bake using the MW. We feel like
we have choose a great MW.
I bought this Microwave on May 2008. I have some experience with this MW. Let me share this for you.
1. About the MW: Design is good. I like the Design very much. The stainless steel inside is good for cleaning. The Cooking accessories are good enough to start. It has the grill, convection and the MW options. Some pre set menus are there (But mostly we won’t use this, but I tried to use for cooking rice, it is ok)
2. Keys: Keys are well designed for long-term use. It has child safety, but not comfortable to use regularly.
3. Working: I won’t say it is amazing, but it is working as good as other microwave. I tried the convection, MW and Grill. I tried some bun, bread items. It came very well. We enjoyed the food. I tried rice also. This is also cooked nicely. Pappad also fried without oil very nicely.
4. Quality of LG: This is a main draw back in the LG. The service is very poor. They told that they will give the demo, but nobody has come for demo. Simple demo itself the service people are doing like this, I don’t know, if a major problem comes. Second the LG, They don’t have proper quality process in the company, so if any after sales problem or draw back in the product, it is very difficult for them to serve (Hopefully this won’t happen)
5. Current Consumption: First month I got Rs. 600 ( we used very minimum) this is Rs 200 more than the normal Bill. The second month we got Rs. 800 ( We used most of the time, Since this is the new one J)
6. Others: The main Cons is service of LG, other wise we are happy with the MW.
