One of the first things you have to think about when heating up foods in the microwave is if the plate or dish you are using will take the heat.

With the Microwave Cookware set from La Cuisine I never have this worry. It is 18 pieces of fully functional microwave cookware. You get a 48oz covered casserole dish, 4-14oz bowls and 4-8oz bowls all with lids.

These dishes are advertised as dishwasher safe and that they can handle heat up to 290°F and they are durable, they can lasted over a year of constant use in counter top.

These are great for dinner parties, football mixers and after school snacks.

Some users found that tomato sauce will stain them and the stains won’t come out. This may be a deal breaker for some but for me it was just a lesson learned. As long as you don’t use it for that they will remain as beautiful as the day they were purchased,

I would recommend this set to anyone with toddlers and anyone who likes the convenience of taking a bowl form the fridge to the microwave.

I use the big bowl for food prep and the little bowls to serve my kids, that way when they don?t eat all their food, I just put the lid on and put it on the fridge for the next day (I put their names on each bowl with sticky notes).

It?s easy to cook and clean up this way and after the kids finish their food I can stick everything in the dishwasher.

The instructions say the bowls are safe up to 140 degrees, but I don?t think I?ve ever had anything get that hot, I haven?t had any problems.
