Another interesting aspect about this hybrid microwave is that the toaster section can be substituted by radio or coffee maker too. While it may not be the ultimate kitchen appliance, it is getting towards that, for sure.

For those that like to choose based on color, this model comes in three variations: black, stainless and white. With 900W power and 9 preset levels, you are looking at a decent microwave with enough versatility for an urban household.

Daewoo is another company that has tried its hand in this microwave hybrid. It is very similar to the LG MD 6553GT model in terms of design and functionality. Daewoo KOG867T9 seems to have dweller deep in the defrosting aspect. It has three presets just for defrosting of various types. These three variations provide varied time durations and power levels for different kinds of food stuff.

It however, has the same problem as other microwave toaster combination – the toasting and microwaving functions cannot occur at the same time. Though this may be a pain for many, the low price and added functionality still makes this a great buy for urban dwellers.
