There are many theories and proofs that blame some of the best tasting foods as unhealthy. The case of saturated fat is a classic.
How many people have told you that saturated fats are harmful for you and you should not consume them? Well how many of them have told you that some saturated fats are essential for proper body function.
And though saturated fat is the most obvious example of a bad food gone good, it is not the only one. I have done search to determine which food has been unjustly convicted and microwave pork rinds is one of them.

Why some people thinks they are bad
This could be because of the way they are cooked. Pork rinds are simple pork skin fried in fat – that doesn’t sound appealing healthy to many people. Why they aren't
When you get into the actual constituents you will find that pork rinds are several times more healthier than your bag of favorite potato chips.A 1 ounce serving contains 0 carbohydrates, 17 grams of protein and 9 g fat. That's 9 times protein and less fat than you'll find in serving of packed potato chips.
About 43% of pork fat are unsaturated and most of them are oleic acid - the same healthy fat found in olive oil.
About 13% of its fat contain stearic acid, a type of saturated fat that consider harmless because it doesn't raise cholesterol level.
