Microwave Splatter Covers Review

This thing is so cool! It keeps the microwave clean so I don’t have to use a wet paper towel on top of my dishes anymore – which is just a waste of my paper towels! It’s about 13 inches so it covers almost every single dish I own.

Plus it’s a little bit weighted so it doesn’t blow around in the microwave like a dry paper towel and you don’t have to worry about it catching on fire like a dry paper towel. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t get stained which is nice.

Why didn't I think of that

Why didn't I think of that is one of the things you will continually ask yourself as you watch this screen perform time and time again. I hated having to fight with the plastic wrap every time I used the microwave. This microwave splatter cover is divine inspiration for sure.

I really like the fact that it is weighted, this keeps I ton the bowl. If you have ever had the plastic wrap come loose and you come back to find it half in the bowl and the splatter on the roof then you know having it stay put is a miracle.

I bought one of the new sensor microwaves; you know the ones that automatically know how long to reheat something by how much heat is in the bowl.

With plastic wrap the heat is trapped in and a few degrees higher than it should be, the open mesh of these splatter covers are great.

You will see less food being overcooked and left tough and inedible. With he mesh screens I was surprised at how evenly the heat spread and there were no hotspots at all.

Everything cooked from top to bottom. This is a great plus. Sometime if you get those hard plastic covers the food doesn?t cook evenly and you have to reset the microwave. This never happens with this splatter screen.
