Instructions

  • Grease and line microwave dish
  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
  • Beat the eggs and vanilla essence
  • Stir in the flour and baking powder
  • Spoon into the baking dish
  • Microwave for 4 minutes on full power
  • Leave to stand for 10 minutes before turning out

If you want to make microwave chocolate cake, you can change the vanilla essence into 30 g unsweetened cocoa powder.
