Well, I have purchased my microwave oven 5 years ago and the brand is Sharp. When I purchased it, I started using plastic plates and bowls to heat all my food items. However, I started noticing that some of the plastic plates and containers started to melt.

Besides, I read that it is not safe to heat any plastic items in a microwave oven. When we heat plastic items, some harmful chemicals come out and the harmful chemicals come into our food.

When we eat that food, we eat the harmful chemicals and then we get cancer. That time, I had a Japanese neighbor and she too told me the danger of using any plastic items for microwave oven. I told her that I was confused of what to use. She then advised me to use ceramic bowls and plates. She was a kind woman; she gave me a ceramic bowl that can be used in microwave oven. The ceramic bowl she gave me is made in Japan and the brand name is Mikasa Rondo. Oh! I just love this bowl because it is so useful and I know it is never going to melt again like the plastic products.

I use them every day for heating my food in a microwave oven. It does not easily get broken even when I drop it. I now can eat my food with a peaceful mind without any fear of eating plastic chemicals. It is one of my utensils that I love the most. There is nothing negative I can tell about this bowl; it is a very good brand.
