Save your time with this item. This microwave egg cooker can make 4 eggs at a time! and it cook perfectly! you don’t have to babysit a boiling pot or hope the eggs don’t boil too hard and crack. You just set the time and you'll get from soft boiled egg to hard boiled egg plus they are easy to peel.

The problems is you have to experiment to get the right time to cook your egg.

Eggs made easy

Now a way to cook hard boiled eggs in the microwave without blowing it up. Yes, you heard me right;

I actually destroyed an OTR microwave trying to boil eggs in it. I put the eggs in went to get my son ready for daycare and then we hear this explosion.

I race into the kitchen and the window on the oven is cracked I open it and there is splatter everywhere and the walls are cracked. It was like napalm went off in there.

I am so delighted to find this handy little cooker. I did not even mind that by first ones were under cooked.

The times are a bit off in the booklet but hey every microwave is different and you just have to trial and error until you find the right setting on yours.

Ten minutes generally gives you a nice hard boiled egg. This number may be less for yours if you have high wattage; I have one of those small microwaves with less than 900w.

The Nordic Microwave Egg cooker is not very large so it will fit into the smallest microwave. It only stands 6? high and it 5? around.

One thing you will have to watch out for though is the heat. The cooker seems to hold it for ever. I have to use the oven mitts to remove it form the oven.

Even then it still needs to be put under cold water before you can actually touch it. I would not recommend letting the 12 and under handle it though.

One of the things I used to hate about boiling eggs on the range top is that my time is so limited I have to multitask around the house and this generally led me eventually smelling the egg burn.

If you have ever for boiled eggs until the water boiled out you know exactly what I mean. With the Nordic egg cooker this is never an issue.

I put the eggs in, pop it in the Microwave set it and I can really forget it. The buzzer goes off when the time is up and the cooking automatically stops. It is really that easy and the shells come off the eggs without hassle. Generally they slid right off without hitch.

I would recommend this egg cooker for anyone who doesn?t have the time to baby sit a pot of water on the stove.
