Nordic Microwave Sets Review

I bought this for my sister when she moved into her new condo. It has a grill with splatter cover, an omelet pan, a two cup egg poacher, and a popcorn popper.

My sister says she likes the set and uses the popcorn popper most often. She likes that the grill cooks bacon without splattering (due to the splatter guard) but at the same time drains the grease (I never met anyone who eats more bacon than my sister, lol!). It seems like a good gift set!

Bacon, eggs and popcorn three of the staples of the American diet at least in my house. This is why I love the Nordic Ware cookware set.

If you have ever cooked eggs in the microwave you know the cleanup can be a nightmare. Then there is the bacon splatter and greasy mess to clean as well but with this set of durable cookware the cleaning is so easy and with the splatter guard you never have to worry about a mess on the oven walls.

I am very pleased with the set. I initially bought it for the popcorn bowl but then I found that the other pieces have become almost invaluable.

The popcorn popper does a fantastic job, and I found out by calling the company that you can add a bit of oil if you like. Just a dab though to you will ruin the piece.

The meat rack gets a real work out in our house. I love it because the meat doesn?t sit in the oils and soak up the fats. It has a flat side and a ribbed side; this gives you a choice of how you want your bacon. The ribbed side makes it very crisp.

Now when you use Teflon pans to scramble eggs a little of the Teflon always flakes off and with other types of pans you need butter or oil so they don't stick.

I am on a fat free diet for health reasons and I love scrambles eggs. Until I bought the Nordic ware I had given them up. I am so glad all I have to do is whisk them put them in the omelet pan and microwave. They slide right out of the pan and clean up is easy.

I do not like poached eggs so I have not tried that piece but if it is anything like the rest it is sure to work like a dream.

My advice to anyone who uses their microwave for more than just reheating leftovers that buying this Nordic Ware cookware set may be the wisest decision you make all year.

This would make a fantastic gift for a newly wed give her a handle on making those romantic breakfasts and who doesn't like popcorn.

I highly recommend this set to all of you. I hope it brings as much cooking ease and great food into your lives as it has mine.
