Nordic Ware 2.5 quart Microwave Tender Pressure Cooker

I like the Nordic Ware Microwave Tender Cooker in 2.5 Quart because its great for our busy family. It cooks like a slow cooker, but faster so I can make homemade healthy meals for my family even when I have to stay late at work.

I can make gravy with the left over juices by adding a bit of flour and whisking it together – its delicious! There’s just the one cooking pot to clean (plus the dinner plates and forks, etc) and it can go in the dishwasher which is great (not the gasket or the weight!) and with food prices they way they are now, its nice to be able to buy a less than perfect cut of meat knowing it will turn out super tender and delicious!

I can make fast and nutritious homemade meals for my family in less time than with conventional methods.

In today's economy it is good to know that you can buy a less than perfect cut of beef and it will still come out fork tender.

Listen, like you are reading this I too read a lot of reviews before making a decision. The ones on the Nordic Ware are a bit mixed but I went with this one because the overwhelming majority liked it. And it was something about they way they talked about using it that just made sense.

If you have ever used an old fashioned pressures/slow cooker you know it can make the house a hot box. You walk in to sweltering heat this eliminates the greenhouse effect.

I truly like the idea of old-fashioned cooking with modern convenience, and this is exactly what you get with the Nordic Ware Microwave Pressure Cooker.

Look you may not be able to put a whole chicken in it but hey it only takes a few seconds to cut that bad boy up and viola you can have chicken stew in minutes.

I like to steam chicken breast and it can hold 4 nice pieces of those.

Everything stays moist and you can season it right in the pan. The steam actually pushes the seasoning through the meat.

I was not particularly impressed with the cookbook with this one the cookbook is a bit skimpy on details.

I think it is the only flaw I can find. It takes a bit more work to convert the old recipes but the flavorful results have been worth it.

I highly recommend this item to any busy person who wants to cook the best possible meal in the shortest amount of time.
