Panasonic Genius Microwave

Panasonic Genius Microwave
A Product Review

Panasonic is quite innovative in all its products, especially in the home appliance section. The Genius is a trademark from Panasonic on its range of microwave ovens.

Typically the Genius microwaves tend to have a smart dial control, for various settings, a electronic control panel and sensor technology that helps estimate times better and hence deliver better results while using the microwave.

Another significant design change is the use of button panel in place of the typical touch panel which makes operation of the microwave very simple and effortless.

Besides, Genius technology, Panasonic has also come out with other innovations like the Trim kit and Inverter technologies.

Typically, you will find that most of the modern Panasonic models come with a combination of these technologies, besides the mix and match of grill, convention ovens and regular microwave ovens.

On top of all this, you have the regular variations on size, capacity and powers giving you plenty of choices to choose from. Given below are two such combination that may work well for you.

NNSN668B/W: Mid-Size Microwave Oven

This is a high power, feature rich microwave that is ideal for a family kitchen. At 1200W and 1.2cu. ft it is quite a decent sized microwave for most regular family needs. It comes with glass panel door opened using a push button.

The embossed control panel brings in the Genius features. This unit also has sensor re-heat and sensor cook technologies.

The main idea behind the sensor technology is to sense the steam levels inside the microwave to estimate the degree to which the food has been cooked.

Based on some processor programming, the Genius sensor will adapt the power levels and cooking times to deliver the bet results.

Besides the goodness of Genius features, the unit also has the Trim Kit options and Inverter technology giving you one of the best packages Panasonic can offer.

The only thing lacking in its set of features is convection oven and grill functionality. However, if you are not a keen baker or grill, you really don’t have to bother about them, you have the best of all other features.

NNC994B/W: Microwave / Convection Oven

NNC994B/W: Dimension 4 Genius® Prestige® Inverter® Microwave / Convection Oven

This model is the full sized, all function microwave that Panasonic has on offer. If you are looking for a microwave that can practically do everything possible in this world, the NNC994B/W is your answer.

It comes with a 1.5cu. ft capacity and 1100W microwave with Inverter technology. Besides, it has the standard Genius features like sensor cook and button panel with dial.

This unit also is a combination microwave with a 1500W convection oven, to set loose the baker and grill in you.

It has a very sophisticated menu screen too, that has been simplified for the end user. So you can choose from five Keep Warm categories, two levels of cooking, Turbo defrost options, etc.

The Dimension 4 comes from the four functions that this model supports: standard baking, Broiling, standard microwaving and combination of baking and microwaving to give you best results in short period of time.

Besides these models, Panasonic also has a plethora of smaller sized, equally feature rich units to choose from. Depending on your needs you can pick the size, capacity and power and you can still get Genius features.
