Presto Microwave Bacon Cooker Review

I almost never cooked bacon at home until I got this. I love bacon but it was just such a mess to have to deal with. Now, I cook bacon all the time! It’s one of the few things my 2 year old will eat. I love that the fat drains away and the bacon can be as crispy as I like (cuz I like it really crispy). The whole thing stays cool in the microwave so I don’t have to worry when I am taking it out and I can cook about 10 pieces of bacon at once! It cleans up easy and folds down for storage (which is great cuz I don’t have a lot of room). I was excited that it came with a warranty but I’ve never needed it.

Bacon is my favorite food; I mean I don't just eat it for breakfast. I make BLT's and even get up in the middle of the night if I have a craving and make myself a bacon sandwich, these are great with cheese.

When it comes to microwaving bacon I guess I have tried as many new fangled gadgets as the next bacon lover.

I have had the cookers with the ridges, the little trees and all sorts of non-sense. But this new presto microwave bacon cooker is the best I have ever owned.

There it was these inverted 'V' shaped racks that let you lay the bacon flat over them.

The grease drains down into a collection tray and the bacon is never too crisp.

At least none of hundred or so pieces I have cooked ever did. Seriously I have forgotten that there is any other way to make bacon.

I have retired the bacon skillet for good.

So easy to use and clean it makes having bacon a joy and having to not worry about the grease either in the bacon or the clean up is great for me.
