We have had our latest "Half Pint" for either side of ten years. It sits out of the way in the kitchen and it is used every day for everything from reheating coffee to cooking delicious corn on the cob, to defrosting frozen dishes of leftovers.

It started to humm loudly yesterday so I pulled the plug. Now in searching for a new replacement It seems that Sharp no longer produces the "Half Pint".

That is too bad for us as every other microwave that I have found is over 18" wide and when placed anywhere on our counters the box covers the adjacent electrical outlets. This for obvious reasons is very inconvenience.

If anyone out there reads this could you let me know if anyone stocks the R-120D or if Sharp is going to start producing more. I found a used one for $10 half way across the country.

Our first Half Pint worked beautifully for many years until I blew it up - nuff said.
