R308 Silver model with roundtable 1100 watts

At the time, it was the only thing I could afford. Three years later, I will be looking again. It is only cooking at about 80% power, so unless I adjust my (in-my-head)memory to increase the time, I can expect either cooler food or have to add extra time after I see once again the microwave duped me. Since it replaced a 17 year old microwave, it is sad. My biggest fear is that it will self-combust when I am not around, or are those stories myths? Always hated its loud door open/close but otherwise it kicked butt til 2 weeks ago. I hate having to buy a new one now, and Santa Claus has already brought me a Wonderful gift, so I feel I can't ask for more. Although I have been a really good girl this year. Merry Christmas all, and my new purchase will help the economy... but I think it will be a different brand this time.
