If you are looking for a compact and economical microwave oven that fits perfectly into a small well furnished kitchen, then settle for Sharp R-216S.

This model is very basic that it had no decorative attachments, but can satisfy that needs of the user on what he is expecting out of it.

This is inexpensive, only worth $80 and at the same time, very user friendly microwave oven that has no issues and flaws about its less expensive price.

It seems to be cheaply constructed, but in reality, it is not awkward to use. This is a moderately average gadget with excellent construction.

Consider as best for popping the popcorn. They come out with crisp and tempting aroma

Overall it is a great compact microwave that does it jobs perfectly though it is not technologically advanced but it come with 15 automatic features that makes it incredible

Basic features of this model include reheating instant packed foods and pizzas, popping popcorns and defrosting meat.

The defrost option had been very useful since most of the food that we bought are frozen, and generally, it cooks better when the food was defrosted first.

The popcorn cooker can cook the popcorn very well, and most of the other brands of microwave oven don’t cook popcorn that good.

Most of the models of microwave oven do not permit you to set the temperature on high with just one push on the button, but this model can perform that function with no hassle at all.

This model, as what described earlier is a small volume oven that can be of great benefit for a small family as well.

This can cater only less than three people and it can accommodate a maximum of three servings.

Small vessels must be used and this becomes easily heated up. And the small size requires also less counter space that can be easily suited in any of the four corners of the kitchen.

The settings in this model are summarized in two categories, namely, cook and reheat. To access a category, press either COOK or REHEAT followed by the corresponding number of the operation.

Also, two shortcut buttons are included and can be found only on Sharp brands, WARM and SOFTEN. The former is ideally used for syrup and the latter is for ice cream.

Another unique feature of Sharp Microwave R216 is the selection to mute the tones, and it has been helpful when you don’t have the desire to disturb others while you are preparing the food.

Pros: This microwwave does great job on what it expected with no fancy additional element. If what you want is a basic microwave, this could well be the one. Many people like it because it is a compact unit and the stylish design with powerful for it's wattage and makes popcorn just as well as expensive units.

Cons: This microwave make a bit of noise when running with a dish of food in it. There's no light on the inside when you open the door, you'll see the light when it is running. Many of them complain about the cheaply made this microwave built.
