The microwave I have is an above-range model. It has a large capacity, and 1000 watts of power for all of my cooking needs.
The above-the-range model is great for saving counter space without compromising the size or power of my oven. It also can be purchased to match an existing stove or refrigerator.
Overall, I am satisfied with the operation of my whirlpool microwave oven. It offers sensor options for reheating and cooking different types of foods.
Users have the option of adjusting the power level, and setting their own cooking times.
There is also a regular timer feature that can be used without the microwave being in use, which is quite handy in my home.
There is a light underneath the microwave as well, with different settings, kind of like high beams and low beams. And there is also a fan to help with any range-top cooking issues I may be having, which has four different speeds.
The microwave has so many options and features, many of which I don't ever use. The only complaint I have about the microwave is figuring out the jet defrost options.
The microwave was already in our home when we purchased it, and did not have an owner's manual.
After almost three years, I am still at a loss as to how to work the defrost setting on my microwave.
Generally, microwave ovens are fairly self-explanatory or can be figured out with a little trial-and-error, but this one still stumps me! Other than that, I am perfectly satisfied with the microwave oven we have, and would not consider trading it for any other one unless I need to!
